1/ Spotify introduces a new product to help software development teams with A/B testing. The new product called “Confidence” is designed to make it easy for teams to set up, run, coordinate and analyse their own user tests so they can quickly optimize their ideas.
Confidence is designed to help software development teams whether they have outgrown their current testing platform or are looking for a quick and easy way to get started with A/B testing. More details can be found here (link)
2/ YouTube will launch thumbnail A/B split testing for creators. The feature has been one of the most requested by YouTubers. The new “Test & Compare” tool is built right into the platform and allows creators to test out up to three thumbnail options. It tracks the performance of a video based on which thumbnail is displayed for viewers and then automatically selects the one driving the most views.
